Each year around this time we get the great joy of watching the Paratroopers jump from Chinook helicopters into American Lake right across the way from where we live. The boys love to just sit and watch the guys jump from their birds and gracefully fall until we cannot see them anymore. We never get notice of when this is going to happen so it is always a great surprise and the only warning I get is the sound of the double propellers coming in our direction. Every time I hear them coming over our house in the summer I run to the window to see if anyone is jumping from the belly of that helicopter. No matter how many times we see them fall from the sky each time is great fun.
