Now my art instructor warned me that the first few times that children were introduced to smelly markers that they would have marker marks under their noses, this did not stop me from letting the boys draw with them. We had allot of fun drawing this afternoon on the paper, our skin and the table. Ayden got a kick out of the fact that each marker had a distinct smell to it and Alex just went to town with coloring his legs and arms. I don't mind messes so this type of play doesn't bother me. What doesn't wash off in the bath tub with eventually fade on its own.
